Our Story

It all started in 2003 when Jim and Mary decided to combine their unique skills to bring quality coffee to Ireland.

With Jim's engineering background and Mary's experience in finance and sales, they felt they could build something special.

They embarked on a European coffee tour, visiting factories and roasters across the continent. In Italy, they were awestruck by the deep coffee culture and commitment to quality. But it was in Vienna where they found their match. There, they discovered an amazing coffee culture dating back to the 1680’s.

Partnering with Sachers family coffee roasters, with generations of coffee expertise, they merged the art and science of coffee roasting. Together we formulated our wonderful Blue Moon Coffee blend. We had found our perfect roasting partner

Back in Ireland Jim and Mary began importing and distributing their Blue Moon Coffee blend. Delighted customers affirmed their decision. Over the years, their close relationship with the Sacher family has remained, grounded in Sacher's consistent delivery of superb coffee.

In 2008, Jim and Mary expanded their offerings after connecting with Puro Coffee, a Belgian organic fair trade roastery. Captivated by Puro's social mission and smooth taste, they became Puro's sole Irish distributor.

Now, many, many coffees and espressos later, Jim and Mary remain a proud family business. Their early success stems from partnerships with like-minded family coffee companies spanning generations. At their core, they share a passion for bringing excellent coffee combined with exceptional customer service into the Irish community.
